High-performance HSS-roll rings
By using permanent molds and sand casting molds, the influence of cooling conditions on the peculiarities of the microstructure formation of developed High-Speed-Steel (HSS) was investigated. An optimized material science solution with the link to the developed casting process made it possible to achieve the optimal values of application properties.
